The Yale Club, early on Sunday morning, in the area where brunch is served:
Bebemoche and Mr. Bebe exit the elevator, followed by a gentleman of a certain age. We approach the host stand only to be told that the club is serving a brunch buffet. We peruse the offerings, immediately deciding that we will brunch elsewhere. As we wait for the elevator, the gentleman of a certain age, who has also just decided against the rather pathetic looking buffet, approaches us.
Gentleman, making an unhappy face: It isn't far to the Harvard Club, is it?
Bebe: Don't say "Harvard" too loudly.

The car wash, midday, whilst the entire city is being inundated by tree pollen:
After waiting in a line of several cars, I finally make it through the touchless wash and pull into the parking area, only to notice that the parking is full of women who are similarly attending to their newly washed cars. As she is almost finished, the woman next to me, a very attractive 30-something woman in a minidress comments:
Woman: "Can you believe we are having to do this as women? I mean, where are our husbands?"
And then, before I could respond...
Woman: Actually, mine is working (followed by hysterical laughter)
Bebe: Mine is too (joins in hysterical laughter)
