Heat Index: 105 degrees Fahrenheit

Humidity:  95%.  Attempts at hairstyling futile

Atmospheric Conditions:  "Smoke" or "haze."  At one moment The Weather Channel indicates "smoke," then a few minutes later it will read "haze."  Lord knows what the meteorological difference actually is.  Not sure I want to know

Air Quality Index:  Unhealthy for all groups

UV Index:  "Extreme."  The UV index normally goes from 1 to 11.  Apparently even 11 is not sufficient

Local Conditions:  Generally dirty.  Abundant mosquitoes

Fashion Forecast (private club):  Menswear style shirts, cropped wide leg pants, sandals including but not limited to Birkenstocks, and various formats of the Longchamp Le Pliage.  Occasional Bollywood personality wearing skin tight minidress.  Relatively rare white people mostly looking absurd in traditional clothing

Gastronomic Forecast:  In a new record, we were poisoned before even setting foot on Indian soil.  Thank you, British Airways.  Abstaining from food other than toast until further notice

I can't wait to return next year.
