This evening I rushed out of client meetings to take a weekly hour-long conference call, one of the most tedious calls in my professional career.

I woke up 1.5 hours later, lying on the hotel room bed with my phone still on speaker, dialed in to what had become a completely silent phone line.

Whoops.
