Thoughts About Exes (Revised)

Sometimes we wish them well, other times not.  Occasionally they come back to us as friends many years later.  

When reminded of them, we might wonder if they are happy, where they are living, whether or not they found other relationships, or if they are still as attractive as we found them in years past.

We might be thanking our lucky stars that we dodged a bullet, wishing that we had bothered to delete their 495 emails in years prior, holding on to copies of the divorce papers just in case, or hoping that they found the less intelligent and/or subservient wives they were looking for.  We may hope that their current partners are not all that attractive.  Most of the time we thankfully aren't thinking of them at all.* 

However, Mr. Bebe's thoughts differ.  He informed me of exactly what he is thinking about when reminded of his exes, and that's one thing and one thing alone:  their publication records.  I almost spat out my coffee when he said this.
